The Vision of Triumph FC

To create a fun learning environment which enhances player development by teaching the correct techniques & tactics at the right time by using age appropriate practices while acquiring a life long love of the game.

Our Mission

To create a fun environment which inspires players at practice and competition, to extend their skills and reach their fullest soccer potential.

Triumph FC is located mainly in the The Colony and surrounding areas. Formed in 2002, we have boys and girls teams playing in “select” leagues in Plano, Arlington, and North Dallas.

At Triumph FC, our goal is to develop players to compete at the highest level while fostering a life-long love of the game. All too often, competitive soccer forces children (and families) to choose soccer and other activities at a young age. At Triumph FC, we believe that by teaching the right techniques and going slowly, soccer players can continue to develop while retaining a love of the game.

More about us...

Triumph FC is a fully registered competitive club with North Texas Soccer Association established in January 2001 and located in the Lewisville / Coppell / Roanoke / Southlake  area.  We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that places emphasis on superior coaching as well as advanced experience for each competitive soccer athlete.

The club ranges from early development academy teams and continues onto competitive play for both boys and girls.  Since inception the vision and character of the organization has not wavered.

As a non-profit club, we focus on developing soccer players.  Triumph Futbol Club’s mission is “To create a fun environment which inspires players at practice and competition, to extend their skills and reach their fullest soccer potential.

We believe that with quality coaching, a fun respectful atmosphere and an age-based approach to commitment, we will achieve our goal of instilling a lifelong love for the sport of soccer.

At eleven years of age, we practice 2 times per week, play tournaments within a 3 hour drive, and allow these kids some time off to pursue the other sports they love.

As the player matures, our expectation of our players increase. By the time the player reaches the highest level of youth play, more travel will be expected to showcase the team and maximize exposure to college scouts.

Our Crest

Below our crest is the club’s motto, “Concero Incresco Spiritus”.   Simply put, it means “United together we grow in Spirit”.  This is true for members of our teams as well as for the Triumph Futbol Club community itself.

United together, we can accomplish anything.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can you play other sports?

Yes you can but bear this in mind that if you sign up for soccer we believe that you put that first! If you have to miss the odd practice that's fine, but on a regular basis you may find that your playing time is reduced.

Are we playing in tournaments every weekend that we are not playing in regular league play?

No, here at Triumph a typical schedule at the U11/U12/U13 ages would be a local tournament in July, qualifying tournament in August, end of season tournament no further than San Antonio the week before Thanksgiving with the fall season finishing there. The spring season would start with practice mid- January with a local tournament end of January/early Feb and the last tournament to be the end of April or May.

How much commitment is needed to play select soccer?

Here at Triumph FC we believe that at the younger ages, twice a week practice is sufficient enough and the games are no different than your recreation season.

Where is the regular season league played?

Depending on the outcome of the qualifying tournament it will be at Plano, Arlington, Lake Highlands at University of Texas Dallas or Railroad Park.

How much does it cost to play select?

Approximately $2500 - $3000. Uniforms and (some) tournaments are extra.

Is there any fund raising?

On very rare occasions which may arise on a teams needs, but normally no there is not.

What about playing time?

If you meet the two practices a week and are on time to games we recommend our coaches try to play everybody at least 20 minutes per game but this is not guaranteed.

What about tryouts?

Tryouts are July first of each year.

What do I need to do be doing before July 1st?

You need to be out working on skills with the select club you wish to play for. Do not wait until July 1st to just turn up and take your chance!
